Project Lead, Large-Scale Land Regeneration – Burkina Faso (2019-2022)

From 2019 to 2022, Ludovic Bourdon served as Project Lead for a 40-hectare land restoration initiative in Burkina Faso, commissioned by Ecosia in partnership with Hommes et Terre. His role involved overseeing the entire design and implementation of the regeneration strategy on this severely degraded dryland site. Ludovic’s expertise helped to shape practical, scalable solutions tailored to the unique ecological and social challenges of the region, including improved soil management and sustainable productivity practices. This project now serves as a potential model for other dryland restoration efforts.
